KIDZ IN THE MIX

AN AWARD WINNING PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN AGES 6-11

Tanja Pazou developed this Award-winning program called "Kidz in the Mix" and it received the Chicago Music Awards for
"Most talented kids under 12".
This program ran for over 10 years in the Chicago area, and it was taught to nearly a thousand kids.
Tanja was hired to implement the program in the Chicago public school system where it was taught to over 500 students weekly for 6-months.
Children ages 6-11 were taught Yoga, Dance training, Dance Choreography and Acrobatics.

Many students performed at various events such as the Veganmania in Chicago, at the Chicago Music Awards, at school performances in the western Chicago suburbs, as well as in the city of Chicago, at UIC at Chicago, at fundraisers, at gala events and many more.
This program not only taught children physical fitness, it also enhanced their ability to appreciate the arts, this award-winning program taught them team skills and boosted their self-esteem. 

'Americas Got Talent' - Performance, Training and Competition:

 Kidz in the Mix participants were trained over the course of 1 year to learn a 2-min intense choreography with training in ballet,
hip-hop, modern dance, and acrobatics. Children were coached by Tanja Pazou 2-3 times weekly and prepared for an intense performance competition. All children enjoyed the process, they learned what it means to work "as a team" and performing in front of an audience with high expectations.
