Tanja Pazou was born and raised in Germany. She was educated in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany and settled in Munich, Germany to become a professional dancer/choreographer. She studied at the Iwanson School of Performing Arts in Munich, Germany and she was trained in Ballet (Vaganova Method), Modern Dance (Limon/Graham), Jazz Dance and Hip Hop. She furthered her artistic abilities in London at the Pineapple Studio and eventually made her debut in Los Angeles, California where she settled for five years and worked in the Entertainment Business.
Tanja Pazou met many celebrities in her career and worked with labels such as the Bertelsmann Group, Sony Music, with fashion labels like Champion Sportswear, Adidas, Reebok, Cazal in Switzerland, L'OREAL, BMW in Munich, and many more.
In Europe Tanja (Tahn-ya) has worked as a Choreographer, Artistic Director and Producer for countless corporations, television companies, production companies, networks and institutions. Tanja choreographed the opening ceremony for the European Basketball Championships in collaboration with Visionworks in Munich, Germany. She has created trade shows and worked with companies like Adidas on numerous events. Tanja has produced and directed events in Los Angeles, Munich, Chicago, and many other cities to showcase the arts and educate students from all over the globe.
In Germany she was a regular on television with dance appearances sponsored by Adidas. She has given presentations on camera and in schools, universities and was featured in movies.
She produced professional fashion shows for labels in Germany like Champion Sportswear, hair shows for L'OREAL, opening ceremonies of architectural events were choreographed by her in Germany and she supported foundations with her talent when fundraisers were needed.
Tanja created over the years many programs for various institutions and also for her own company Pazou Productions Inc.
She taught classes in all dance disciplines at the University of Illinois at Chicago and she also developed Yoga programs. She worked for government agencies to implement the 'Kidz in the Mix" program in the public school system in Chicago and she taught this program at various elementary schools in the Chicago suburbs.
Over the years Tanja has had the pleasure teaching celebrities, children and adults at all ages and she taught thousands of people the art of dance and yoga. Being a professional in the field, she had become a consultant for many athletes and helped educate many students in the healing arts.
Her work with other artists are displayed throughout this website. She has collaborated with professional photographers on various ideas, she has hosted dance shows in Los Angeles, she has choreographed for vocal artists and bands, she has danced and choreographed for trade shows, film, television and for theater productions.
Tanja has experienced the world of entertainment in front of the camera and as a director, as well as a producer. She has shared her experience with thousands of people who benefited from her work and she continues to do so.
